Community Health Worker: Now Serving YOU!
Thanks to a recent grant from the University of Chicago Medicine Liaisons in Care (LINC) program, TRC is excited to introduce a Community Health Worker to the staff. The goal of this new position is to reduce neighborhood health disparities in South Chicago through outreach. We’re excited to work with our new community health worker Brittany in alignment with our goal of serving underserved communities by listening to their needs.
“I want the community to see me as a liaison for any of their needs ranging from health services to utility assistance. I provide education and connections to health and social resources. I want the people of this community to take advantage of the services that I offer.”
These services (and more) are available to anyone in the Bronzeville, Washington Park, and Hyde Park area. If you or anyone you know needs assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Brittany!
